Oops! Armchair Golf Misquotes Descartes

“I golf, therefore I am.”
(not said by) Rene Descartes

Historical note:
Rene Descartes was a French philosopher, mathematician, scientist and writer. Descartes lived in the 17th century, and thereby avoided all rationalizations of the final-hole collapse of fellow countryman Jean Van de Velde at the 1999 British Open.

Very funny. I have one famous misquote not made by William Shakespeare. My wife always gets mad at me everytime I say this. This is because I always say this when she wants me to do some chores for her. Bad husband am I? Maybe.

Here's my misquote that sends my wife screaming at me:

"To golf or not to golf... that is the question."

Hope to hear more famous misquotes from others too. Cheers!
